The Here to Help website is optimised for Internet Explorer 7 & Firefox 3.6.3, & has been tested under Windows Vista. Best viewed with screen resolution 1024 x 768.

Usability

For your convenience, & ease of use this web site provides the functionality to change the size of text to enhance your viewing experience. There is a menu positioned at the bottom left hand of the page that will allow you to change the size of the text. There is an increase font button, a default text size and a decrease font size. If you require the text to be larger, or smaller than the functionality provided here, instructions for optimising your browser can be found below.

To enable the the text size function to work properly, your browser should accept cookies, & be JavaScript enabled. Instructions on how to check these settings, & to turn them on can be found below.

To check that your browser is JavaScript enabled click 'Tools' on the menu bar, then select 'Options': Tools > Options. In the box that opens select the 'Content' tab, and check (tick) 'Enable JavaScript' as shown below:

To check that your browser allow cookies click 'Tools' on the menu bar, then select 'Options'; Tools > Options. Select the 'Privacy' tab in the box that opens, & check (tick) 'Allow cookies from sites' as shown above.

Firefox offers the ability to zoom in & zoom out of web pages. To do this use the shortcut keys as shown below. Alternatively if you use a mouse with a scroll wheel, hold the 'ctrl' key & scroll up or down to zoom.

Internet Explorer Users ielogo

To allow cookies for Internet Explorer 7 click 'Tools from the menu bar, then select 'Internet Options'. Tools > Internet Options. In the box that opens select the Privacy' tab, and click the 'Advanced' button as shown below.

Check (tick) the box for “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”, and also check (tick) in the “Always accept session cookies” box as shown above. Click 'OK' twice, then restart Internet Explorer.

To check that scripting is enables for your browser click 'Tool' on the menu bar, then select 'Internet Options' Tools > Internet Options. In the box that opens select the 'Security' tab, and click the 'Custom Level...' button as shown below.

Scroll down to the 'Scripting' section, and under 'Active scripting' select 'Enable' as shown above. Click 'OK'. If a message pops up asking if you are sure you want to change these settings, click 'Yes'. Click 'OK' then restart Internet Explorer.
